"Wineclubs?"

"Wineclubs"...
New Words for Old Passions!

If you are used to browsing through the Internet's fascinating wine club world, you may have noticed that some people are spelling wineclubs instead of wine clubs.

This is maybe a symptom of the huge popularity of these clubs, which sell wine online and by mail order. In fact, it looks as if wine clubs has become such a household expression, that people are feeling the need to say it in only one word!

Who Started Wine Clubs?

Whatever you want to call them (I believe in the freedom of inventing words for all), wineclubs are none other than the good old wine clubs.

These clubs are founded by passionate wine lovers who want to share their passion with you and the world. (Of course, there are other wine clubs founded by corporations that only care about profits, but that's a different story.)

Expert Wine Selections

In any case, as long as you are getting great wines, you shouldn't care much about the founders' noble or less noble goals.

One thing you should be very attentive to though, when it comes to wine clubs and the task of selecting one for yourself, is how their wine selection process works.

The best wine clubs have experts traveling all over the world to find the best wines that are being produced everywhere.

Some supermarket-style wine clubs, on the other hand, simply have deals with certain wineries and importers, and they offer you virtually the same in many forms with every selection.

Choosing Wine Clubs

I personally love the idea of good regional wine clubs, because they give you a chance to truly experience and understand the wines yielded by your own region. Good examples of these are the Oregon Pinot Noir Club, the Washington State Wine Club and the charming Californian Sideways Wine Club

As for international wine clubs that may dazzle you with exotic selections, I recommend Cellars Wine Club, The Wine Society of London, and the many local chapters of the American Tasters Guild

The Joys of Wine

Once more, whether you want to call it a wineclub, a club of wines or a wine club; this type of club yields a promise of great pleasures in store for you, if you only choose wisely.

Look for the best wine clubs in your area, compare pricing, check out their past selections, make up your mind, and then; just enjoy and relax.

Great wine clubs will dazzle you with great wines, low prices, and an impressive offer of wine dinners, tastings and events.

After enjoying all of that for a while, I don't think you, or anyone, will care what the things are called. :-)
