Tesco Wine Club Fair Review

Tesco Fairs...
A Chance to Taste and Learn

Tesco Wine Club Fairs are held periodically in different locations in the UK by Tesco Wine by the Case. They are a great opportunity for you to enjoy wine-tasting and learn about wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Offering workshops, wine walks guided by respected experts, café and a Tesco Wine by the Case shopping area, the fairs are a traditional meeting point for both connoisseurs and amateurs. They have a large following, with updates and comments posted eagerly on social sites like Twitter.

What's Happening?

Tesco Wine Club Fairs last for two days. They are happening in Manchester, Edinburgh, London and Bristol. The workshops are free, with tickets being given out on a first come, first served basis.

The fairs are reputed to be fun and entertaining above all. Here, you will have the chance to taste wines at your leisure, until you find what you are looking for, if you are serious about it, or just for the sheer fun of it, if you're not.

The wine walks are an important part of the entertainment offered. Tesco wine fair promotional materials claim that their guides are not only savvy but also highly entertaining.

Pricing

Tickets to the fair cost £6 per person. Most of the their wines are offered at a discount price during the fairs, but this won't blow your mind, as they will typically be marked down around 50p per bottle only.

In regards to the actual prices of wine, you can get a good bottle for under £10, but this greatly varies, depending on the wine.

What People Say About It

Customers have been known to complain about the club's delivery service. They have, on occasion, promised to deliver (and kept listed as available online) wines that were actually unavailable at the time.

If you are tempted to join the club at one of your local fairs, make sure you double-check for your selected wines' availability.

What's Good?

Tesco Wine Club Fairs seem to be a successful social event, where you can get to know other wine lovers in a cool, relaxed atmosphere, while everyone is learning about wine and, primarily, having a jolly good time.

According to the experts, the wine selection at these fairs is impeccable.
