The Wine Wrangler? Yes, you read that right.

The Wine Wrangler is a tour business that features the wineries of the Paso Robles region, as well as other natural beauties in California's Central Coast region. It was started by Coy Barnes, a.k.a. the Wine Wrangler, and it has expanded into the wonderful Paso Robles Wine Club.

What is the Paso Robles Wine Club?

Simply put, this wine club is a great way for you to experience the many fine wines of the region from the comfort of your own home. Of course, if you are the adventurous type, you are always welcome to first partake in one of the Wine Wrangler's many tours and taste test your wines before you buy.

Wine Plans

I've found that this wine club allows you to choose from 3 different plans: the Rustler, the Wrangler, and the High Plains Drifter.

And each plan will send exclusive Paso Robles wines to your home 3 times a year.

Each shipment will contain totally unique wines, and you will never receive the same bottle twice… unless of course you ask! So with over 200 wineries in their plans, it will be easy to find exclusive and interesting wines.

So let's have a look at the plans... they are all essentially the same but are differentiated by price.

The Rustler is a $100 plan that offers you 4 unique bottles of wine per shipment. The Wrangler doubles this fee, but also doubles the number of bottles you receive. If you are a wine collector or consume wine frequently, the High Plains Drifter will be your best bet. It costs $300 per shipment and features 12 bottles of wine.

What Kind of Wine Will You Get?

When you sign up for this wine club, you can specify if you would like to receive mixed shipments of red and white wines, or shipments of reds only. All of the wines will be exclusively from the Paso Robles area, and you will never receive bulk, close out, or private label wines.

Member Benefits

Besides receiving unique wines on your doorstep three times each year, there are many other benefits to joining this wine club. For example, if you receive a shipment of wine that you especially enjoy, you can re-order it at a 20% discount.

Many of the Paso Robles Wine Club benefits can be gleaned at the Wine Wrangler.

You will receive 10% off all tours with membership, and 10% off the tour's dinner shuttle service.

If you choose to shop at the Wine Wrangler, you can take 5% off any non-wine merchandise within the store. And if there is a Paso Robles wine tasting event, you will even receive a V.I.P. transport to and from its location!
