This Wine Club from Oregon... Is a Tasting Room at Your Door
The Original Oregon Wine Club is owned and operated by Dave and Sandy Shultheis. Since 1981, the couple has been studying and enjoying the history of Oregon's wine... and they offer you the benefit of sharing in their Shultheis's exclusive knowledge of Oregon wines.
Wine Plans
This wine club offers 5 basic plans for your wine tasting pleasure.
Each plan is delivered monthly and is accompanied by a fee that seems to match the exclusive wines you will receive. Shipping and handling is not included in the prices, but your membership is free.
Original Oregon Wine Club: This is your most basic club available and with it you will receive 2 bottles of wine each month. The most popular selection within this club is the Oregon Pinot Noir, but you will also receive other unique wines. The fee is between $35 and $50 for each month.
Premier Pinot Selections: For between $65 and $85 a month, you can receive some truly great Pinot Noirs in this club choice. You will find 2 bottles of a reserve or single vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir on your doorstep each month.
Premier Red Selections: For the same price as the Pinot Selections club, you can enjoy a more expanded variety of reserve or single vineyard reds. While the 2 bottles you receive may still be Pinot Noir, you will also be open to other fine reds.
Aside from these wine clubs, you may also decide to exercise your own tastes and join one of the "plus" clubs. While these plus clubs still offer great wine on a monthly level, you will take a more active part in selecting the wines you receive.
Original Plus: For between $50 and $65, you will receive 2 bottles of wine each month... 1 from the Original Oregon Wine Club, and one from one of the Premier clubs.
Premier Plus: With this interesting club, you will get a total of 4 bottles of wine monthly. You can select 3 wines that are being offered in the Premier clubs, and 1 from the Original Oregon Wine Club to complete the shipment. The cost of this club is between $99 and $122.
Return Policy
The Shultheis' offer a satisfaction guarantee. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with a wine that is sent to you, you have 2 courses of action. They will send you a comparable bottle at their expense OR they will deduct the cost of the wine from your next shipment (less shipping and handling).

All in all, this wine club is an eclectic little club that is very highly specialized and offers only wines from this wonderful region in Oregon.
Still, there are many beautiful wines for you to sample and you should very much enjoy the palates of the Shultheis family.
