Of all the wine clubs, this could be a tough question...

There are many to choose from, and in fact, it wasn't until I started this website that I realized just how many there are! :-)

And while you might feel inclined to stick with the first wine club you enjoy, I've discovered that it isn't necessary to select one particular favorite.

Part of the fun of wine club membership is in the diversity. Try one for a while, then select another. Or mix and match with two or three at once...

Why?

Well you'll discover, like me, that some wine clubs specialise in a particular wine region or a particular wine variety, while others specialize in wine tastings or winemaking... they'll offer from 2 bottles per month to 12; from weekly delivery to quarterly deliveries.

In other words, the opportunities are limitless. And the choice really is up to your imagination (and how much wine you drink!)

Discovering the World of Wine...

For me, I love the simple pleasures of drinking a glass of wine, whether it is at home with my family or friends; or with the lavishness of being served wine by a restaurant's sommelier.

I also love traveling; and for me, part of the fun of traveling is in tasting the local wines. It is amazing how wines can be so different, yet so good, across the world. Be it French, Italian, Hungarian or Macedonian wine, a Napa wine from California, or an Australian (where I come from) boutique wine, I'm constantly impressed by the quality and variety of what is on offer.

As I continue to review wine clubs around the world, it is wonderful to see the excitement and passion for wine prevail. Apart from just wine, wine clubs offer an overall experience, which includes things like tastings, tours, newsletters and regular social events... and best of all it is completely customizable to what you like.

That is why I think one of the best ways to experience the pleasures of wine is via a wine club...

You can delve into the intricacies of wines from your region; or go broader to discover international wines... all from the comfort of your home, and with the freedom of knowing the experts have first given the wine their tick of approval.

This is perfect if you are a wine novice wanting to learn about wine; or even if you are a seasoned wine lover wanting to discover new wines that you don't normally have access to.
